On one hand we have licensed physicians who do not, as a normal course
of events, improperly prescribe pills. The percentage of doctors who
improperly prescribe drugs can probably be in the single digits
percentage wise and if you look at the total prescriptions given in a
year, the improperly prescribed ones probably don't even make 1%.
On the other hand we have people who purposely sell poisons to anyone,
man, woman or child. Their percentage of harm is 100%. I really fail
to see how you can compare them.
Michael Jackson's doctor is thought to have given him an improper
prescription. Thought to, not shown to. So one doctor may have done
wrong. Are you painting all doctors with the same brush? It really
sounds like you are.

As for Rush, how many doctors did he go to in his life and how many
poisoned him? All, some, a few, or one? But He's a big name so his
doctor should be representative. right?

Yes, there's abuse but is it at the same level as crack? At the same
level as weed? At the same level as whippets? OK, maybe that last
one...maybe.
