The medial arts seem sorta like programming arts. Hard numbers are, um hard.

But I see insurance as a *huge* part of this. Our litigious society
and whatnot. The status quo, et cetra. Doctors seem to pay
outrageous malpractice insurance.

I think somehow we're related to the government.

I think you touched on this a while back-- people just hadn't been
paying much attention. I don't know that expectation of safety isn't
a concern, either.

I mean, with the current data, measuring "safety" seems a little
difficult. There aren't databases of doctor's work, etc.. And a huge
part of that is probably privacy concerns in some form. And maybe
partly 'cause doctors like to be magical, much like programmers (did
;]). :)p

I guess there's stats, doctors love stats, but the stuff is sorta
hidden. Eh. We'll get there, eventually. Hopefully we'll beef up
our security before everyone's in databases and whatnot. Or keep the
data separate, balance the data power or whatever.

What is the difference between unethical and ethical advertising?
Unethical advertising uses falsehoods to deceive the public; ethical
advertising uses truth to deceive the public.
