Steam, I have to be in the mood for, as it is VERY hoppy.... If you want
hoppy try Tuppers Hop Pocket

If you want to know what "American Ale" is supposed to taste like, try
Dominion Ale, that's who AB-InBev stole the recipe from.

BTW: AB-InBev has finally settled with the Czech brewery that they stole the
recipe for Budweiser from, and they've started importing the brand to the
states under the name "Czechvar" it puts Budweiser to shame.

Never had Mirror Pond

Hefewisen is an acquired taste, you won't find a real one without the fruit
and clove tastes, it's a result of the specific yeast strain that's used to
brew it. You may like American Weisens like Widmers (it's an unfiltered
wheat beer brewed with lager yeast and more bittering hops)

Sam Adams is about the only macro I'll drink
Hoegarden is also an acquired taste, Belgian whites are an unusual breed, a
good entry point is Blue Moon (and yes it's an AB-InBev product) it's am
Americanized Belgian White, the spice notes aren't nearly as strong and it
doesn't have the candy sugar that a lot of Belgian beers are brewed with.

Magic Hat depends on which style you get...

Anchor steam is ok. I like one or two but no more.
Bud Ale is pretty good but a little heavy.
I like mirror Pond.
Almost all British Ales.
Fat Tire is nice but heavy.
Love Pete's wicked ale but can't live with the smell the next day.
I like heferwiesen but without the fruit.

Can't drink Sam Adams.
Don't like Hoe garden (sp)

How's Magic Hat, I forgot if it was good.

Any suggestions I can try.
