The matches are made several ways. If he shared his email account and you are in it, if you have friends in common, if you have companies or schools in common. I've learned a lot about how social networking behaves behind the scenes while working on this current project, which has a huge social networking component. I tried to incorporate the best of all the networking sites in this one, and I totally excluded friends matching cause it creeps me out. Facebook keeps insisting I should be friends with my ex-husband, and my slimy cousins.
