They are not a PAC. They are neighborhood organizers although somewhat too
stuck in the 60s to do it as well as it should be done. In Albuquerque they
also do voter registration, credit counseling, and general advocacy for
low-income groups. I found them somewhat humorless and well-meaning, but I
suspect that hundreds of families are better off for having made contact
with them.
