1. I am not conservative (nor am I liberal). 2. Regardless of how bad the situation was, we (the American public) were told he was the solution to what ails us. 3. He knew what he was getting in to and made promises he had to know he could not keep. Its like a coach being brought in to a team that has not won a game in nearly 2 years. If the team did not improve, do you think 'Things were really, really bad when I got here' would work as an excuse or explanation? We basically hired him to fix our shit, and it seems a lot of people are not happy about his job performance.
