I vacillate about term limits. I think that it is a decentish idea in some ways but I also think that there is an up side to having continuity and people that serve for a long time and do a good job. I think that we wouldn't have as much of a need for term limits if we could just get campaign finance reform going. If there wasn't such a huge advantage to incumbency and the financial where influence that goes with it, then voters could take care of the term limits without needing a law.
