Yeah, I've been very pleased.

Sound:
One of the best things in windows 7... If you are like me with multiple
usb sound cards. When you open sound preferances you can change default card
and it automatically takes place across all applications you are running.
Windows 7, if I can remember things correctly, is the only windows OS that
has handled these on-the-fly changes to default sound cards.

In the morning, I plug in my usb headphones and listen to some npr, in the
afternoon I plug in my tascam us-144 soundcard so I can listen to music
through my stereo, in the evening, sometimes when I'm just practicing a
friend may send a youtube link, so I route that through my m-audio Xponent
which is another usb soundboard...

Search:
Another great thing, search in windows 7 is really nice. The DJ software I
use is slow at times moving around through the database folders I have setup
for genres / years etc. So from time to time I use windows search to grab
that mp3 when I need to move to something like the all music folder which
would take like a minute for torq. Most of the time I keep iTunes open for
this but in a pinch I know this works fast enough.

Personalization:
I love my rotating desktop backgrounds. So far I have two sets, Crop
Circles and the second, album covers from Sub-Bombin.com Records, albums and
podcasts.

Don't even get me started on how much I love the concatenation of open
applications / quick launch toolbars!!!

That's about it for the moment. I'm sure something else will come up :-)
