No actually. I never use the word. If anything I would have said Hispanic but I don't think I did in this context. And it is an issue. That whole ugly ACORN investigation n 2004 was about how they must have been registering illegals because they turned in a bunch of registration forms for people named Chavez and Montoya. Not an issue? You're implying that people who have been here for centuries aren't citizens, dude.
> Maybe you called them Latino. Not really an issue so I don't know why > you;re dwelling on it. > So why bring the demographics up then? Go re-read this thread. You assumed that homeless people must be "mexican." Just saying. Conisdering your preconceptions about *that* population I think that says plenty. > Prejudices? What prejudices? I'm just saying your demographics are way > different than most of the rest of the nation, and you mention it all > too often. So why now are you offended? > On a personal level I am not since I am neither Hispanic nor homeless. But I do find bigotry offensive in general, and smug bigotry most of all. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Want to reach the ColdFusion community with something they want?
