Ok - maybe I'm asking for it - but I'm really curious - do people think my opinion here is crazy, or do I make some sense?
In general, this is an attitude I see in other places as well. Consider the "Abandon-Ware" issue - Some people distribute copies of games/software that companies no longer sell. The reason is that the software is no longer commercial, and should just be given away for free. My opinion of this is the same - just because a company _should_ do something doesn't mean you get to right to make the decision for them. Anyway - just sharing. Maybe no one else has an opinion on this? (Yea.... right. ;) -rc > -----Original Message----- > From: Raymond Camden [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Monday, May 06, 2002 10:30 AM > To: CF-Community > Subject: RE: Study: File sharing boosts music sales > > > While I hate the RIAA - just because music swapping increases > sales, it > does NOT mean that it's right.
