The first question is not even an answer to the question. But I will read on... It still doesn't change the fact that we need to do anything we can to help slow the process. We are 10 years away from manned scientific mission to another planet becoming a reality (if all goes well...and it probably wont). That would translate to 100's if not 1000's of years before any non scientific colonization. It's best we do what we can to take care of Mother Earth...proof or not.
