I've read most of them. None of them compare to Endgers Game.

I started by re-reading "Ender's Game" over Thanksgiving, and then "Speaker for the Dead" shortly after. I find a number of similarities in Speaker for the Dead and Avatar. Spoiler Warning (for both Speaker and Avatar)... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... Both feature a theme of a human coming to an alien planet, befriending the aliens and then rebelling against humans. Both feature a strong tie between animal and plant life, including the ancestors live on among the plant life. Both feature a central "mother tree" or "home tree" that the aliens revere. There are some other similarities, and it's by no means a perfect match between stories, but it is an interesting comparison. Anyone else read this series of books? Ender's Game was fantastic - I am hoping the rest of the series is as well... -Cameron ... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Want to reach the ColdFusion community with something they want?
