The White House has made good on a promise to proactively release all White House visitor logs, not just the ones requested in an FOIA request. I think it is a small, but cool, step toward open government. More so, I think it is an interesting use of the web. I'm curious to see what all people end up doing with it.
Thus far they have released the last half of September and are working on the first part of the year. They will be doing monthly dumps of data. http://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/disclosures/visitor-records Nice use of JQuery and I like that you can export to csv and download for your own parsing. Sad that out of 25,000 visitors, not a single one is named Judah. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Want to reach the ColdFusion community with something they want?
