Lets flip that around. A vast majority of people believe that there is some kind of deity created the world (or controls us, or is our messiah, etc). Using this logic, we should all just believe in God, Allah, etc, because, everyone else does.
And if we don't believe and we are wrong, by the time we realize it, its too late.
