oh yeah. My 15-yo, with lots of karate championship wins, was a handful. Still. Most girls that age don't know much about fighting and haven't done much except perhaps pull hair once or twice. He on the other hand is a trained police office who massively outweighs her and has training and probably experience specifically in subduing combatitive suspects.
What I saw there was the sort of reaction I'd expect him to have for a highly irrational and violent suspect who was menacing innocent third parties. And let's be legalistic for a moment. If I recall this correctly, it's only battery if it hits him. It's not assault unless he is in reasonable note, reasonable, fear of violence from her. So at best we have attempted battery on her part. Her body language says she is in a snit and perhaps is being sarcarstic but this dangerous suspect did walk into the cell under her own power. He swatted a fly with a sledgehammer. On Thu, Jan 21, 2010 at 11:39 AM, Larry C. Lyons <[email protected]>wrote: > > Actually depending on the situation its more difficult than you'd > think.
