You're right, for the most part. I've been through earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, mudslides and fires. I'll take the quakes.
But they are still scary to folks who haven't experienced them before. The only thing that bothers me about quakes compared with the natural disasters is the total lack of warning.
