Because ESPN offered them the most money for the broadcast rights.....???

Pro bowl has always been a joke.  I have no problem with players voting for
an all-star team, but that doesn't necessarily mean they have to play a game
that nobody likes playing in, and nobody likes watching anyway.

A lot of players have pro-bowl incentive clauses in their contracts, so they
should keep it around....but ditch the game. Send all the players to Hawaii
for a week and set up various activities...skills contests and what
not....but there's no reason to play the scrimmage that no one cares about.
