Capitalism is based on making money form the sum of the group. - This works in many areas of our society we pay for goods and services all day, every day. If you "want" something, you work and pay for it. Seems like a simple enough concept until you get into areas like health care, internet access, and higher education. Socialism is based on well being of the group. - There are some areas where socialism wins. We need national security, we need roads to travel on, we need food to eat, we need medical attention from time to time. The way I see it "looking through a pin hole"; socialism is everything government provides it's people in USA. We elect officials and they spend money on our behalf to make our lives better as a sum of the whole. they don't look to profit from spending our money. Socialism: Riding public transportation Going to public schools Food stamps Using the Postal Service Capitalism: Driving luxury sedans Going to private schools Eating Caviar Using UPS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Want to reach the ColdFusion community with something they want?
