I go out to my car this morning and discover that someone smashed my driver's side window and took the change I keep in the center console. I figure about $6 in coffee money. They left the stereo, the amp, the subwoofer, the ray bans and (thank god) my prized genuine hawaiian dancing hula girl and took my coffee money. The impact this few dollars has on my life is one day of missed work, a day of hassle and $235 to get the window replaced and tinted. My deductable is $300 so that's out. This is SO frustrating. I live in a nice neighbourhood too, a little village within the city consisting mainly of newlyweds, new parents and the like. sigh. Fuck. Not only do I feel violated and angry but for six bucks! GAH!
