Whether this is true or not, something like this eventually will
happen....but that's not even that big of a deal, and isn't the primary
reason why these scanners are a bad idea.

If you are that afraid of terrorists...DON'T FLY. Airport security should be
returned to some level of sanity...checking for obvious things...keeping
guns and other obvious weapons off of flights. That's it. Liquids and shoes
and all that crap...let it go. This has gotten out of hand.

I don't want or expect that EVERYTHING possible has been done to keep my
flight "safe"....I want and expect only a reasonable level of security.
Since 9/11, I expect that American passengers can handle the rest. Quit
pretending we're all a bunch of babies who need the TSA to save us from 6 oz
liquids and underwear powder.

Do away with all this extra security crap, and if someone doesn't feel safe
anymore because we've all kept our shoes on, my advice to them would be to
take the fucking bus.
