Similar thing happened to us a couple months ago. A Good Samaritan saw 'em do it even, and tried to snap a picture/offered to testify (and waited with the wife for the cops to show), but we never heard back from the cops after that.
All for like 3 promethazine tablets. People, make sure those pill bottles are tucked away, even if you're in a spot where no sane person would try to rob you! :) We knew that, too. Oh well. I went to the junk yard and got a new window for $50 bucks, & the dude threw in a handle I needed too. I freaking *love* junk lots, u-pull-its and what have you. Maybe an option worth checking out next time (hopefully never), if it's not too much of a bitch to get the door panel off... it cost me $50 and about half an hour, total. A lot depends on the make and model tho, and if you've got the inclination for such things. Which reminds me. I need to change my oil. :den -- Don't give your advice before you are called upon.
