The cloud can be kinda expensive. You might look into something like Rackspace's cloud solution. You may also want to consider solutions that are outside of the cloud but use the cloud to support bursts of unexpected load. Something where you would have the foundation of you solution on dedicated equipment at Rackspace (as an example) but then have a few instances ready to spin up in the cloud in case of emergency. That gives you the ability to scale up quickly without the continual ongoing cost of the cloud for *everything*. Your mileage may vary though - I will admit I haven't done much like this in the cloud directly, those are just my musings based on casual reading and research I have done in the past. -Cameron -- Cameron Childress Sumo Consulting Inc http://www.sumoc.com --- cell: 678.637.5072 aim: cameroncf email: [email protected] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Want to reach the ColdFusion community with something they want?
