Well, there's certainly always some luck involved in an OT situation, but no, that was the US fault for letting a player get in front of the goal the way he did. That's the extra challenge of 4-on-4, so little room for mistakes. And Canada totally capitalized on it. They also knew coming in that Miller was on a hot streak and goals from in front were not likely to get past him. They played a very tactical game in terms of playing those sharp angles and really going after the rebounds.
