Chamber of Commerce worked for me. -----Original Message----- From: Justin Scott [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, March 01, 2010 4:55 PM To: cf-community Subject: RE: local advertising in yellowpages listing

My company advertised in Yellow Book one year and we had maybe three phone calls as a result for the year, none of which resulted in sales (and we even hired a professional yellow page ad designer to create the ad layout). We paid an extra $15/mo for their online stuff which was a complete waste. Granted this was in 2002, so things may have changed (for the worse as more people get online I would suspect). It also depends on the market you're in. If people in your area still use the phone book then it could be helpful. You might be better off joining the local Chamber of Commerce and getting a membership list and direct mailing them and attending networking events. -Justin ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Want to reach the ColdFusion community with something they want?
