I love learning new instruments and lately (last year or so) I've been trying to learn the tin whistle so I've been listening to a lot of Irish music recently like the Chieftans. Their flute player (Matt Malloy) in particular has wicked skills. I've played some bodhran as well, with all the technology and electronics today, I love what extraordinary music people can still produce on such basic, simple instruments.
