Wife and mother-in-law both have Acer Aspire models. I've seen both the 8 and 11 inch models, my wife has this one: http://www.techspot.com/review/184-acer-aspire-one-751h/ It's got an 11.6" screen, 1 Gb of ram, a 1.33 GHz processor and 160 Gb hard drive. The specs seem a bit low on the power but I'll say this - my wife has had it for 3 months now and *loves* it. It is big enough that is has full-size keys and the touch pad has the buttons on the bottom instead of the sides, like the smaller ones. We've also run it for in excess of 4 hours on a single battery charge. Prices run from $300-$600 depending on vendor. Biggest thing that I've found is that the less horse-power the longer the battery... and when typing on my mother-in-law's 8.9" my fingers start to hurt - not so with my wife's machine. Hope this helps! Hatto ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Want to reach the ColdFusion community with something they want?
