BTW Tigerdirect periodically sells Acer notebooks for about the same price. They're refurbs with Home Basic on it, but for the price is right. I got one for Alexis and so far its survived the abuse the kid has dished out to it. Mind you she only plays educational games on it (Pre-K and Kindergarten level educational games).
