Neither the Canadians ort British teach BRM in the manner you are stating.
The Conventional US Army (non-SF/Ranger/Airborne) doesn't shoot enough to get high accuracy, neither do conventional British or Canadian forces. The Special Operations forces in the Army, and the US Marines train to a far higher standard. Stop being snarky. If you look at some of the videos of Canadians and British forces in Afghanistan you'll see examples of such. You see similar videos of Americans, typically laying down a large volume of fire. I thinks that only the Special forces follow the marksmanship rule: 2 shots center of mass.
