I would say everyone is paying both halves. Full time employees just don't realize it because it's taken our before they get it. I am 100% in support of printing the employer side taxes right on every single paystub so employees understand the level at which they are really being taxed. So many do not. Make no mistake, all employers count that as an employee cost when calculating how many employees they can afford to hire and what rate they can be paid. The employee pays it in the end.
