I even mentioned to my ex the idea. She said basically the same thing as
the rest of you. Write a plank, a brutally honest biography, and do it.

I really think I couldn't run on any of the parties that exist now. The
libertarians have too many weirdoes, the repubs and dems hahaha, the
constitutionalists are rife with anarchists and racists.

What do you guy's think of the following party names:

The New Libertines
The American Liberty Party
The Nationalist Libertarian Party
The America First Party

Or my favorite:

Common Ground

Any other suggestions? I can even lay out some of my "plank" to see if that
leads to any ideas from you all.

1. We are a sovereign nation who must put its interests ahead of any other
nation or organization. This includes the UN, IMF and World Bank.

2. Fair not Free trade.

3. National Defense (the defense of American Soil and American Citizens and
interests abroad) is and should be the primary focus of the federal
government.

4. We need to somehow limit the powers that the federal government has
seized through the welfare and interstate commerce clauses of the
constitution.

5. Immigration should be merit based. Illegal Immigration should be a
felony followed by deportation. This is not a race issue. I'm of Irish
Descent. I know there a re a great many illegal Irish, Russians, Italians
and others living here. It's not just about Hispanics.

6. We require a balanced budget amendment. You cannot spend more than you
make.

7. We need a major tax overhall.

8. We need to abolish the Fed. It is unconstitutional and goes against the
wishes and ideology of the founders of this nation and myself. Central
banking is not a good thing.

9. We need to do a thorough review of ALL USC and get rid of those laws
that do not have a direct constitutional impetus.

10. We need to return to the gold standard.

That's a good start I'd say, there is of course a lot more.

Party name suggestions?

Nut jobs that will never get elected?
