Those Republican operatives should be fired immediately. Not for going to the club (_simulated_ gay sex is OK, as long as they don't want to get married) Not for expensing it (that is an admired Republican trait. Expense it AND take it as a business deduction on taxes)
It is their inability to lie their way out of it that makes them unworthy of their jobs. I mean, cmon. They could have been promoted with a simple "we were there to keep an eye on the top Democratic donors in the area".
