This was an M-1 Abrahms if I remember correctly...circa 1986-89. The coolest was the track mounted anti-aircraft guns that fired at some ungodly rate. With the tracers it looked like a laser beam. We used to do regular desert training at a base in the Mojave Desert just west of Los Angeles (about 30 miles south of Death Valley). Some of the night fire exercises were better than fireworks displays...especially when the A-10's would come in and drop their tank buster bombs.
