Are you at the CALF training center at Ft. Polk? I was stationed there
before they built that. We used to train a lot out where that is...it was
called Peason Ridge at the time. I remember the PC we had when I first got
there had on a 2 week in/2 week out cycle. By the time July or August came
around, we were usually out of funds to bring the vehicles out, so we ended
up doing some light infantry training. Peason Ridge was a fun 20 mile road
march...especially when you are a medic and carry not only the same gear as
the grunts, but also an 80 lb aid bag full of medical supplies. I was SO
glad when he was replaced.

I think you are talking about the Vulcan. It was a 30mm gatling gun that
sent a wall of lead into the air. I have no worries of getting shot though.
I am the bc of a Bradley. We just finished gunnery and that was the first
time i ever crewed one. It was fun.
