oh, duh

sorry, I grew up before a lot of the pc idiocy, when 
they started using descriptions that made no sense.

to me, "special" has connotations like good, valuable, 
rare - all positive, all validatory (is that a word?).

and that's what I meant 'bout Ms. Eri*K*a.

to me, "Special" with respect to kids with developmental 
limitations, learning disabilities, etc. is simply the 
wrong word to use.  Just my .02.
