I wasn't even sure it was a quake until a few seconds after it
happened. Then I looked up and noticed that the surfboards that were
suspended from the ceiling were swaying back and forth. That's when I
knew it was a good sized quake, but even then I thought it was more
like a 4-5, not a 7.
