How is it a trick question (especially since it is a statement *grin*)? We
ALL evolved from single celled organisms (I remember a science teacher in
high school making a Freudian slip and calling them fossil orgasm hehehe).
I think the point of the immediate question is dealing with human lineage
and whether people believe that we evolved from animals or we were
magickally produced out of clay like the bible says. CHLCA...what is that?

"Human beings, as we know them, developed from earlier species of animals."

Looks like a trick question. Asking did we develop from earlier
species of animals, implying other than human? I was taught we all
started as a single cell being in the water and evolved, but I can't
seem to find anything besides CHLCA.

Technically since we're an animal and we evolved that's an accurate
question. But why can't they just ask if we evolved, why say from
animals? Why not ask if we evolved from the sea while they're at it?
