Well, there are very good free CFML options now as well, and from my experience with the folks at Railo, you can get top-notch support if you need it as well. There are certainly plenty of other options than CF as well, that would be odd to exclude these days. My guess with PHP is simply that you will not have any trouble finding developers that work in it, or apps coded in it.
