Yes, we switched to Moodle a couple years ago when the price for Blackboard got too outrageous to justify continuing to use it. I'm a web developer, not a teacher (which, given how this thread has gone, I'm sure has a few people breathing sighs of relief) but I can tell you that the teachers seem a lot more willing to use Moodle than the were to use Blackboard. Also, since someone went and got personal by posting where I work and as a matter of CMA, I'm posting as a person, not as an employee of GCKSchools. I don't even know what they teach in biology here, but I'm pretty certain it's not Creationism given that that particular infamous decision by our state school board was overturned after the next election after it was made.
