I've got a little wood rot on my house, and I've had 3 different contractors out to give me a free estimate on repairs. They've all worked up their bids and sent them to me, and I'll decide which one I want to go with and give them a call.
My question is, should I contact the 2 that I did not choose just to let them know and thank them for their time and the free estimate? Are they expecting that? Or are they just expecting if they don't hear from me, that they didn't get the job? All 3 were quality folks and professionals, so I want to show them whatever courtesy is expected.
