Halak has been a monster in goal. I thought they would place Carey Price more since they pretty much bet the franchise on him, but it looks like Halak is going to give him more time to grow up in a reserve roll. That is if Price stays out of the free agency market.
I liked that the 1,2 and 3 seeds in the East lost and the 4 seed one, while in the West the 1,2 and 3 seeds won and the 4 seed lost. It was good to see Washington pull a San Jose move this year. SJ at least scraped together a series win. We'll see if they continue on. I'm rooting for the Pens to win their matchup and for a building collapse in the Boston-Philly series. In the West, I like San Jose and Chicago coming through but Vancouver is going to be tough.
