I had to defrag the drive on my development machine and now I can't get some sites. Microsoft.com is totally inaccessable and other sites can take forever. I checked for a virus and no result. I've turned off the avg anti-virus, turned off zone alarm, looked into what else may be running and I can't find anything. I used ipconfig to flush the dns, changed the machines IP and DNS, and installed (or reinstalled) XP sp3 (downloaded from another machine). Anyone have a clue what I should try now? It's almost like there was something between my attempts to touch the net and the sites I'm trying to get to.
