I think I was on the list back when I was still out in Portland, pre 2000,
but have no proof of that.

Looking through the archive, though, I cannot believe some of these people
have now been out of my life for 5 or 8 years. Some of who I still think
about daily. Bad puns still should be mentioned to Ben Braver. Regex
questions always bring a little Doom to mind. And the long, long threads
about music and punk rock are missed, as are Mike and Wayne. Picturing Ken K
still hip deep in highway sign parts. Beth riding her bike up in Alaska.
Jochem with every rfc ever written at his fingertips. Jillian and her
cheerleader outfit. Bill and his truck. And President Todd with the final
solution. Boom!

I think only an early Prodigy chat room for Robert Heinlein has had such a
lasting impact on me through virtual relationships.
