I don't name call people I respect. I have no respect for Sam or anyone
else who quote Fox News/Newsmax/etc... like they are the gospel truth. I
especially have no respect for anyone that thinks mixing religion and
government...or someone who claims that the Constitution only applies to US
Citizens. Theocracies are evil plain and simple and run up against pretty
much everything our founding fathers were for and just shits all over the
Constitution. Sam...if you want to live in a theocracy...might I suggest
some Islamic nations in the middle east and try that out for size? We can
see how well that works out for you.

As a side...I was reading you sig...I am going to be seeing them next month
:-D Rush was my first concert back in 1986 with the Power Windows Tour and
I haven't been able to see them since. They are playing in a pretty small
venue in Chicago (Charter One Pavilion on Northerly Island...formerly known
as Meigs Field for all you MS Flight Simulator fans), so it should be a
really awesome show and just a great op to see a band like Rush in such a
small venue.

Eric

The point of view that the US should be governed based upon the Ten
Commandments...or on ANY religious doctrine of any kind....is EXTREMELY
dangerous. You support it because it happens to be your religious dogma in
question. Ask yourself this: what if it wasn't? Would you still support it?

I think Eric and Larry have terrible debate skills when it comes to
you...for some reason they can't avoid the name calling....but I can
understand where the passion comes from. I happen to believe that your
opinion in this matter, regarding a blurring of Church and State, is the
single most dangerous idea to the freedoms of all Americans. I don't think
you are stupid, but I can't pretend to respect your opinion in this case. I
don't. I think it's terrible.

I try to separate the opinions from the people. Some very smart people have
some very BAD opinions. I'm one of them.

Question: Do you not see a danger in mixing religion with legislation?
