He was kind of a jerk in the first part, wasn't he?  Also, talk about
inconsistent .. in one scene he both says that obi-wan is as wise as yoda
and as powerful as mace windu but also says that he is beyond obi-wan in
many ways .. ok then.

I didn't .. it still felt way too rushed.

Yes.  Remember, Anakin eventually ruturns balance to the force.  If Yoda had
let poor little Ani get squished, then there would have been no one to kill
the Emperor later on.

Those were awefull.  Then again, some of the other dialog wasn't much
better.

Yes .. some of them .. somewhere.  I believe they were in the arena fight
scenes.
