About half the people I know have never heard of the WW2 detainment camps. I didn't know about the German and Italian ones. As for Dresden, we didn't just bomb it. We destroyed the whole city core and killed hundreds of thousands of civilians in the city core to destroy...a train yard. Meanwhile most of the legit military targets in the area were untouched.
