Yeah, I have heard nice things about it in a resort kind of way. I'm
not really a resort kind of person though.

But, word of warning though -- I spent a lot of time in New Mexico,
where they do empty like noplace else, and I learned a lot of respect
for exactly how far you can be from help when you run out of gas or
get a flat tire. And the Mojave scares *me* -- a side trip down 66
near Amboy was something out of Hitchcock, even in broad daylight. A
marine I know at 29 Palms warns his family to never ever stop the car
there, I found out later.

If you go anywhere off the beaten track in that area, please make sure
you have a full tank, a good spare, and lots of water. Especially if
you have your family with you.
