yeah... happened to me at the grocery store at the new self checkout
lanes... I
would scan something in and put it on the conveyor and was moving along,
wasn't
watching the screen that said something was wrong and the machine notified
the
store that i needed help... the people treated me like i was trying to steal
something. I was putting groceries in the bags when she came to help.. the
stupid machine took my credit card.. didn't say there was a problem scanning
some items... what was I supposed to do... be telepathic with the computer?

I haven't seen one of those but I probably wouldn't use it. They have an
automatic book-checkout machine at one of the branches of the library and I
haven't used it. I think it isn't the machine that scares me but having it
not work while people are watching me. : )

They have one of those ticket machines at our regal, it never works,
which is why nobody ever uses it.
