I doubt it will destroy him, since he is clearly pandering to his
base.  If anything, the publicity will boost his chances of winning,
because a whole bunch of people in that part of the country agree with
him.

is publicly touting his affliction with them, and I haven't heard any
of the Tea Party supporters disowning him.
