The story is a day old and it's already starting to unravel.

Apparently Sestak is not elligible for a job on the on the Intelligence
Advisory
Board.<http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/05/28/white-house-used-bill-clinton-to-ask-sestak-to-drop-out-of-race/>

So, Bill Clinton, acting as proxy for Rahm, asks a sitting congressman to
forgo his senate run for a non-paying job that he isn't eligible to hold.
If that doesn't make BS meter redline, you might need to have it
recalibrated.

Even better, suppose that, for some reason, everyone buys the non-paying
position as something as no value and everyone accepts Bill Clinton offering
the job as kosher, there is another case with the specifics already named.

Andrew Romanoff said he was offered specific jobs by Jim Messina, Obama's
deputy chief of staff.
