I grow jalapenos, bell peppers and tomatoes every year in a bunch of very large pots off my deck. I added fresh sweet basil and Rosemary this year. I tried one year to plant in the ground, but found the container route to be far less work and much more consistent. Besides, for two people, that is plenty of harvest. Hell, I still am using my frozen peppers in my eggs every Sunday.
